The theme of this story is friendship.  It is a story of a close affinity between a person in a high position in a society (superstar) and an ordinary unassuming person(barber).  It is a blend of touchy scenes coupled with overtures of comedy.  Sreenivasan plays the role of the barber. His wife is Meena. They marriage was the climax of a love affair. Superstar is the close friend of barber Balan. The do not know about it, nor does Balan tell others about it.  Balan is an ordinary barber with no sophistications of a modern barbershop.  Once superstar Ashok Raj comes to the town for the shooting of a film. He comes to renew his friendship with Balan. People know about this. They admire the simplicity of Balan. Balan gets a new acceptance in society. The relationship brings some changes in the wife too. The story continues…. This interesting film will be brought to the theatres by Seven Arts Film under the  banner of Lumier Film Company.
