Gopalan. He joined the army at the age of 16 only to earn a living out of it. He was absolutely harmless but he had to bear the rifle. To save his life he shot those who came towards him in he battlefield. In the battlefield every body had to be considered as enemy. But he was in the brink of pain. Seeing he cruelties of his predicament he wept silently. Finally he put down all his pains and sorrows in black and white under the pen name Nanthanar. Some sympathized with him, others laughed at him. One day he too was called by fate. Nobody realized it. Adayalangal is a film that has a military background, a probe into the inner conflicts of simple men at battle field. This is the first film by M.G. Sasi.
